Goal

The goal of this meeting was to recapture the state of this work and plan tasks and timelines to get this work accomplished.

Timeline Planning

We first worked a backwards timeline from the next OASIS Mooring turn.

  • The next OASIS Turn is M1 which is in October 2010 (let's say October 1).
  • We want one week of on the dock testing (starts September 24th).
  • There should be 3 weeks of closed can testing (starts September 1st).
  • This means code freeze is September 1 and this is the decision point about go/no go.
  • There should be 30 days of testing over the new radios (start August 1st).
  • There should be 2 weeks of integration and test time (starts on July 19th).
  • Bob's code changes should take 1 week (starts July 7th, backed up another 3 days for OASIS2SSDS work).
  • Rich's code changes should take 1 week (starts July 7th, backed up another 3 days for OASIS2SSDS work).
  • OASIS2SSDS Code changes 3 days but should be done after Bob and Rich's work (starts July 12th).
  • Craig needs one week to setup things for Bob and Rich (starts June 30th).
  • Craig needs two weeks for infrastructure (during Bob and Rich coding so starts July 7th).

Now that said, the beginning of this work falls around the 4th of July and does not allow for any slippage. That being the case, I propose this work start on June 1, to allow for holidays, vacations, etc. This results in the tasks and schedule in the following section.
